The simple, modern and bold design of the Creative Block packaging reflects the craft and passion that goes into each of these award-winning blends. Named and inspired by the Spier Arts Academy project, our winemakers combine grapes from different vineyard blocks to curate unique tastes - always so much more than the sum of their parts.

2x Spier Creative Block 2 2020
This blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sémillon turns heads wherever it appears. Lusciously textured tropical, fynbos and asparagus flavours are overlaid upon a canvas of mouthwatering minerality. Coveted by connoisseurs and critics alike, accolades for the 2019 vintage of this Sauvignon Blanc-dominated white blend include a four-star rating from Platter’s Wine Guide 2020 and 92 points from British Master of Wine Tim Atkin.
TASTING NOTE
Tropical notes of gooseberry, lime and white peach. Subtle hints of fynbos and a touch of white asparagus deliver depth. The palate is young and leads to a long and structured mineral finish.
2x Spier Creative Block 3 2017
Make a statement at your next dinner party with a red blend that’s truly a work of art. With spicy Shiraz accented by intoxicating splashes of Mourvèdre and Viognier, this Rhône-style blend’s voluptuous complexity is sure to set tongues wagging (and drooling too!). Crafted with grapes sourced from Groenekloof and Stellenbosch in the Cape’s breezy Coastal region, this wine matured for 16 months in French oak. It’s pepper-infused berry flavours and velvety tannins make it irresistible now, but save a few bottles for the cellar too; this is a star set to shine even brighter.
TASTING NOTE
Subtle perfumed notes of violets, black cherry and mulberry are followed by spicy flavours of black pepper and fennel. The silky, rich mid-palate is complemented with concentrated fruit and dense, silky tannins.

A true symphony of a wine, with Bordeaux varietals led by Cabernet Sauvignon achieving a perfect, rousing harmony. If you ever need a standout performance from a red come dinnertime, then this is your blend. International critics agree too, with the 2017 vintage winning Gold at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2020 and a 93 point rating from British Wine Master Tim Atkin. Encore!
TASTING NOTE
Blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant is supported by cedar, dark chocolate and fennel hints. The vibrant palate has great balance and dense tannins. The taste will be enhanced by ageing.
