The Saxenburg Private Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 vintage was in many respects superior to the much famed 2015 vintage and this wine is a testament to that.
As is typical with Cabernet Sauvignons from the Polkadraai Hills ward, this wine has an incredible freshness and elegance to it, even though the tannins are still young and firm.
Beautiful aromas of tobacco leaves, plums and blackcurrant lead to a palate that is nicely weighted and finely grained.
